Having a fever right now. It started with a throbbing headache earlier on in the day then tonight it got worse. Kinda hungry right now guess i gotta force myself to eat some food..

Anyway today i feel darn stupid. Makes me wonder why i do some things. Never felt like that before.

I'm halfway through my long weekend! Went to town just now and it seems like everyone's doing their christmas shopping. What about me? The line at taka's gift wrapping counter was so long. I finally got my phiten necklace woohoo! Gonna wake up real early tommorrow morning to shoot at safra. Lol i hope i don't miss! Heading to church after that followed by a birthday dinner at csc! Tommorrow's gonna be a good good day. I guess each day is how you make it out to be.

Booked an air ticket to kl just now after getting bugged by darren everyday (for weeks seriously)! Today he was like, "i beseech you to book your ticket!" haha what a word to use. Was talking to nancy a while ago. We've got lots to catch up on! Too bad i can't talk like how i used to oh well.

Supposed to be having supper with ryan, carol + jiajun right now but i kinda don't feel like going out too far too late.

Some of you reading will be wondering what is a stig. Okay the most watched series by males ever in the world is Top Gear. It's watched by 350 million viewers every week and i'm one of them haha. It's a car show run by the BBC. Other than the three presenters, the stig is the test/stunt driver whose identity is secret. No wonder they dare to pit him against other professional/f1 drivers. He's the seven-time f1 drivers champion after all hahaha.

And i'm going to see my brother next week! haha decheng if you're reading this you're awesome remember that.

Today one of my friends said: Jin, you seem to be thinner than normal...is it because of all the drills or is the army not feeding you guys enough?

I guess it's not the army but the stress. Although sometimes i think the two may be synonymous. sigh.

Had a great conversation with my brother last night! I haven't seen him in forever. Ok it's been less than a year but still way too long! I can't wait for the 3rd of July! But it means i've got to clear all the work within the next few weeks. Honestly it's gonna be real hard but i've got to endure through it no matter what! Looking at what i've been through before, i think i can go through this. Talking to people about it, no one understands how simply tough it is. But it's alright i'm gonna make it no matter what =)

Went to changi airport on saturday! I so love the airport. It's so bright and peaceful, not to mention there are aeroplanes haha! =)

And we celebrated kat's 22nd at kbox! I'm not a kbox person but still it was fun! Stayed there so late till we could go get mcgriddles and HASHBROWNS! This is like so long ago but haha.. the thought of hashbrowns can make me hungry. And mcgriddles is like the best burger! if it's a burger in the first place. Ok lets call it a griddle! It's like sweet meets savoury. Egg cheese and meat between yummy pancakes! =D

Went to church today =) i've had an fine two days amidst quite a bad week. Not going to go into details. Met up with cheryl, christina, joey and richard yesterday! Received christina's rom/'legal engagement is not a wedding' invitation. haha.. i can't wait.
We basically ate the whole friday away. Started with ramen at central. Then desert at azabu sabo then coffee club at taka then bakerzin at paragon. I've been eating so much!

Not to mention I was dragged to a steamboat just now. I'm not too fond of steamboats. Since i don't quite like BOILED food. But it was alright in the end. Couldn't enjoy it much since i'm damn tired. After half an hour, i just wanted to go home.

And it's the sundown marathon right now. I don't understand how people can run a marathon. It is just amazing how they do it. What's more they're running at night when they're supposed to be asleep. I'll start with a half marathon first.

I'm back home finally. Was having wargames for the past week. It is very tiring. Some people have an average of 1 hour of sleep per night. Which translates to 23 hours of working. Thankfully I had a bit more. Was still working at 1am last night argh. Don't even have time and/or energy to reply to smses. Next week is gonna be a long week again =(

I need a holiday. Which i'm getting.. After I came home just now my mother wrote me a note, asking me to choose which airline i wanna take and which day i want to fly. =)

Work has been real tough. It's not like the typical steyrotype-physical-kind of toughness that people think. It's the stress which comes from a disproportionate amount of assumed responsibility and the fallout of it should something happen coupled with the lack of adequate support and resources.

I'm starting my drums again with my dad. A bit not used to it but i will over time. The pace of the lessons are too slow. Spent the hour hitting the base and snare. argh!!

Work today was busy busy busy. And i just injured my arm while trying to run out of my room. I'm too hyperactive. Not the first time i injued myself while running around the house. I remember the last time i was running into a room but half of me wasn't aligned with the entrance so i whacked my shoulder on the wall haha..

Have an online exam to complete by monday! Loads of notes to study.. 1 hour exam of 40 questions which means 90 seconds per question!!

And i got a headache now from hopping around the house. YES hopping. Sometimes instead of walking i end up using all kinds of funny ways to travel around. Quite childish but fun still.

YES! HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR! I'm so happy that after a very hard week i have two days of holiday! Finally can catch up on rest and more importantly my work! But there's visiting for the whole day. Really got to plan my time well. Can't afford to waste any already.

And my grandmother came to singapore from malaysia! =D which means i've been evicted back to my room hahaha.. damn my brother's room was so comfortable. I like to have a working room and a seperate bed room.

Some of my close relatives are moving to melbourne later. Definitely will miss them!! Oh well, but i guess i'm quite used to being physically away from people. Sydney for 4 years then my brother staying in the uk. Then my friends in sydney. I think day to day, physically i am in camp, my brain is left at home while my heart is in australia haha.. I can't wait to ord. Those are my 3 most ever favourite letters of the alphabet.

Went for lecture that day. The pace of teaching was very very fast by my standards. Only a 2x 10 minute breaks over a 3 hour lecture. Oh well talk about sleep..

Anyway, the high key season has officially began. Had events from monday to tuesday. Then most prob i'll have to go back to camp this saturday. Then it's another big high-key thing then chinese new year! Then overseas exercise which i'm not going thankfully. But there's A LOT of things to prepare before a too short deadline.

And that day we filmed another movie at downtown east! hahaha.. the only problem was that we were too sleepy throughout. I think once we hit 21 we become slow haha.. Oh yar for one scene steve thought standby was record and record was standby!! So the camera kept on rolling till '1 2 3 action!' hahaha.. Trying to find a firewire cable so i can convert DV tape to file!

OKAY, it's been like almost a month since i last wrote. Been ultra busy with the inspection, then my HOLIDAY!!

Malaysia was damn fun. We started by driving up from singapore to KL. The first thing i did was to remove the P-plates off the car. It's dangerous enough already. Some malaysian drivers really suck. I was so tempted to slam on the brakes when they tailgate. Like helllooooo? Travelling at 130 on their proton cars, one smash and they're flatter than a pancake. Don't know where they BOUGHT their licence from. Anyway, other than them, i love malaysia haha..

After reaching KL, we checked into The Gardens. The hotel room was so shocking!! The bathroom is bigger than my bedroom haha.. The next day we went shopping at Mid Valley! I love that place so much. Been almost 6 years since i've last been there.

Then we drove up from KL to Ipoh. And tailgating againnnnnn.. sigh If they were driving a supercharged V8 then their speed is justified but too bad they're not. To all tailgaters out there, SLOW DOWN! If you're in such a hurry, FLY!

And i finally met up with my grandmother in ipoh =D

After a night there, we drove up to Penang! Finally could jetski again. I love speeding on water. It's so clear and free. Especially when the cold seawater hits your face, it's the closest you can get to momentary utopia. But then everytime i go over a big wave, the jetski flies into the air and hits the water hard! ouch..

Oh yar sorry for not posting pictures, they're in my dad's phone. He has such a nice phone now la.. *jealous* haha..

And guess what i found in penang: An A&W OUTLET!! hahaha.. you know the one that makes the root beer float, the curly fries and the waffle with icecream. I had all three hahaha. But it was so difficult to order la. They kept on speaking to me in malay! Do I look like a malay?? haha.. Tried to tell them that I don't understand malay but to do that, I have to say that in malay. =/ In the end i got my food =D

After a few days in Penang, we drove back to Ipoh. Over here, most people can speak chinese or some dialect. I got so used to it that I spoke mandrian to a malay woman behind the counter. hahaha.. she was like "huh?" ooooops. hehe..

*FAST FORWARD*

We drove 7 hours back to Singapore. Took a shower and immediately went out to Brotzeit’s Bier Bar & Restaurant at Vivocity to have dinner with sydney friends. Finally met up with them after so long! =D After that we went to Franz's place: The Sail @ Marina Bay. It's my dream bachelor pad. Looking out of the window is the IR, floating platform, Singapore flyer and all the office buildings. Can totally imagine waking up to such a sight! hahaha.. And they have a gym IN THE SWIMMING POOL! And a ROCK CLIMBING WALL in their real dry gym. Games rooms, function rooms, dance/workout rooms, meeting rooms, reading rooms, rooms to sit around and stone in, multiple swimming pools. I think the office workers in the skyscrapers around will be looking down and crushing their paper cups thinking, "why can't i be swimming there!"

Went to celebrate Amy's birthday at Central yesterday. I think singapore is too cliche. Christmas DOES NOT MEAN you have to go to orchard road to shop! I mean, if you have things to buy there, then go ahead but don't go there just because it is christmas! There are a thousand and one other places to shop! Like the new jurong point for example. Was stuck in a stupid jam on Scotts Road because of the stupid GPS and stupid singaporeans going to orchard. Hello? It's a RECESSION! Either go shop at heartland malls or stay at home.

After dinner we crossed the river to the reverse bungee! hahaha..

One more day to the 3 day inspection! Worked non-stop today from early morning to overtime. Only had a 15 min lunch break. Phew.. Talk about stress and exhaustion.

Two more days to my once a year inspection. Been preparing for this for the last two months. It lasts three days from wednesday to friday. Hope it goes well. Talk about stress.. And i've still not totally recovered from the gastric yet.

I'm going to malaysia on saturday =D I'M GOING ON A HOLIDAY! I'M GOING ON A HOLIDAY! I'm so happy i can just cry. I really need to rest. Haven't had a break since last year. Yay!

I've been having gastric for the past one week plus. Saw doctor twice le. The first time i went at 4am. Then last night i went at 1am. Stayed there till 5 in the morning.. and i was IVed oucch!

Going back to camp tommorrow. Hopefully i'll be alright. If it wasn't for high-key events and work piling up i'll go take mc again.

And my in-charge is going for a two month recourse from january onwards! Means i'll have to take over his appointment. oh man.. There's so much i haven't learnt how to do yet.

I'm just thankful that there is understanding and forgiveness where i least expect there to be. Ok i promise to really try and blog more. I had my 21st, i got transferred to air force. The people there are really nice. And in case you haven't noticed, i changed my blog layout lol. Couldn't stand the previos white one with all the rectangles.

Those people on the background are my heros haha. Watching the movie reminds me of how un-understandable military life and war is. And i found an interesting picture on deviant art. It's a very realistic detailed painting of what war can be. There's even the sar21, bottle, sbo, burnt out bionix tank, street lights.. even more amazing is that it's hand painted. Through all the training, we're taught how to fight but little is told of how disgusting war actually is. I guess that's because the commanders themselves haven't even seen it yet.

Oh man, just now when i was driving my tyre scraped the kerb and it actually blew. Managed to get the car off stevens road onto scotts road where i could stop it safely. Then after we changed the tyre with the help of a nice passerby, the low petrol light came on. -____________________-"
Oh well.. managed to get to a petrol station to fill petrol and tyre air. Driving is so troublesome, should just take public transport.

Hello, i'm a 3 week old soldier now. Training is quite tough. I wonder what's so basic about basic military training. Been waking up at 5am in the morning and training for the rest of the day. So far it's been good. I'm not going to write much, because apparently the saf has people trawling through the internet reading blogs like this.

I thank God for His faithfulness throughout all this. No matter how tough the training can get, God is the King over the army. He is in control.

I almost smashed into a car at quite a fast speed just now on boon lay way just now. The car in front suddenly jammed brakes so i had to emergency brake as well. The guy was avoiding the big big tree that fell on the road. The tree is so big la and since it's at night it's so difficult to see. Thank God phew..

To Cheryl: The lucky girl is somewhere out there. Sometimes I see her in my dreams.

What a day.. I visited the dentist after work. He's super friendly but then after i heard what he wanted to do, my cheerful hesitation changed into an undescribable feeling. Oh well. Ouch ouch ouch. After that I went over to have dinner + jacob's birthday. My mother told me to eat more for dinner because i'm going to be losing weight after the thing starts. Learned some interesting things today about some people hehe. Today is officially Relationship Awareness Day.

Ok my new computer's keyboard is a bit spoilt. The spacebar jams sometimes and the @ and " keys switch. So i decided to get my brother's keyboard but then it doesn't work on my computer. I realised the mouse and keyboard are both wirelessly connected to a wireless device plugged into my cpu. So i took that thing out and plugged in his mouse too. Then the mouse can work but the keyboard not yet. At my laptop now. Everything is working fine here except msn. -____________-"

Lol i was having my drum lesson today. My last drum lesson was 6-7 years ago. Forgot a lot of stuff le. The teacher kept on asking me questions and testing me. Cos i didn't go last week. Then halfway through HR called me. Had to quickly run out to answer the call. Have to practice more from now on..

Had two job offers on tuesday. The interview i went for went on for two hours! Oh man, i just sat there with the manager and we talked and talked. I think i probably asked her more questions than she asked me. I think i'd rather ask questions than looking like a fool pretending to know. Still thinking if i should enter that industry.. it's a big step. Then when i reached home and preparing to rest, another phone call came in offering another job in different firm. Hmmmmm..

Right now i'm unemployed. So much has been happenning, don't want to work.

Met up with chris and cheryl for dinner at blue urban oasis. The bartenders were so nice. They gave us 3 new cocktails to try for free.

Have a job interview coming up next week with a financial planning firm which i'll probably go for the fun of it. I feel like working in citibank again. But above that, i wanna work in a restaurant to see how it works. But i just don't wanna work yet.

Today was a good day! Went to hillsong in the morning and then live album recording at night! A while ago i talked about Mike Guglielmucci who had terminal bone cancer. He actually stood on the stage with his breathing tube at his nose and sang 'Healer'. Here's a guy who broke tons of bones while trying to preach on stage, testifying to the world the healing power of Jesus when doctors said he couldn't make it. The songs were so beautiful. They're gonna come out in july. We went for dinner after that. Met up with loads of people! Met up with my dear cg people: ben, daniel, op, ryan, franz, carol, sarah, grace, soph. And colin, fred, pita, richard, tim, derrick, scott, edo, brandon, jo, etc etc.. Met jack and krystina for the first time too! They're such nice people. Today i talked wayy too much! And not to mention sang a lot too. -drinking water-

Happy new year once again! It sure has been a tiring one. After reunion dinner i went home and studied through the night until 12.30pm then i went visiting till evening without sleep. Couldn't sleep in the car as well. Every year the roads are quite interesting to watch. On the pie in the afternoon when we were on it there were two accidents which basically caused a big jam which delayed the whole singapore. The first accident was a 10 car pile-up.. Through the day we saw so many road accidents.
Conclusion: During chinese new year, there will be more accidents.
Reasons:
1. Lack of sleep due to reunion dinner and countdown the night before
2. Excitement from visiting people
3. Noisy kids at the back of the car
4. Too much food therefore drowsy
5. Tight schedules

When i'm sitting at the back of the car without enough sleep that's what i think of.

I went exercising just now at bukit gombak stadium. I saw two kids, one of them really reminds me of myself. One is a naive, nerdy, skinny, innocent boy who is in his own little world. The other is a cool, fit, good looking, friendly boy practicing parkour. I was the first one hahaha. Last time i used to have a good friend who was just like the second boy. He was a damn good swimmer with friends and girls after him but he was also my friend. What is it about nerds that attract? Alright on a side note and unseriously, i think nerds rule the world by proxy. Just look at steve jobs, bill gates, mark zuckerberg, steve chen, sergey brin and lastly, kevin rudd. Nerds rule ok..

And i really wonder who's reading my blog right now.. please let me know so i won't be lying awake at night wondering who the unknown ip addresses are on statcounter (which seriously i don't bother checking) tell me aaaaaaaaahhh! lol! i'm kidding.. haha i don't have to know.
I used to look at it quite a bit last time but i'm over it. Can't be bothered already. I think the amount of time a person spends on statcounter is directly proportionate to his insecurity.

I finally got the emerge conference dvds after two years.. lol! Did you know that emerge conference is PG? Parental Guidance.. means i got to ask my parents to watch with me haha.. Alright i'm getting better. Now i've got to gain all the weight back.. Even my father commented that i lost weight. Oh yeah i bought the OTO Trimax for my parents! They wanted the Uzap but it was too expensive so they didn't get it. I think the Trimax is better (and cheaper too!) so i got it for them.. I tried it just now at the shop.. the vibration was so intense. And i tried it right after eating a full meal so all the food were jumping around the stomach haha..

Haha God is good =) so real. For the past two messages i've heard even though they're covering a wide range of topics, the underlying thing i feel God is speaking to my heart is, "hey jincheng, it's alright." Confirmation after confirmation after vindication of things i have held in my heart for some time. Be it things i really want to do or convictions i hold so dear. There are times even christians with good intentions can shoot you. Usually these will hurt more than what non-christians say. But through it all, if we hold fast not only to our beliefs but to our convictions and to God, He will come true. The first message was in hillsong. After that i was so speechless till i couldn't even say wow. I just wanted to stay in the presence of God. Just now i watched a recent city harvest service online and all i can say is wow. Two churches, one God, one relationship. He is so real. One word from heaven, our life gets changed. Time in the presence of God, nothing else will ever be as good. Knowing God understands even though people may not, is all i need.

When i was showering just now i was thinking, why do i love my God, why do i run after Him, why have i stayed with Him for the past five years and why i'm gonna stay with Him for the next five. My words won't do justice to all He's done but i'm gonna try.

He healed my brokenness and pieced my shattered heart back together. It's a tough job which was impossible in my own eyes but He did it. He gives me peace when everything around is shouting at me trying to take me apart. He lets me rest when i am drained out with nothing to give. He lets me breathe above the water level when it tries to cover me. He shows me He is the hope when i am giving up. Time and time again He saved my life. He gives me reasons to actually smile. He does not let me struggle through life instead His grace lets me overcome. God showed me my value was defined by Him not by myself or anyone else. He makes sure justice is done so i can be rest assured that everything will be fair. He loves me, my family, friends and the world so i know everything's gonna be alright. He puts real joy into my heart, unspeakable joy that cannot be compared. His perfect love covers me when i am scared. He's provides such real strength when i cannot walk on. When i don't understand what's happenning, i know that i know that i can trust in His unchanging character. He loves me enough to change me. He showed me i am not a mistake, i was created by Him on purpose for His purpose, that when all is said and done, i can stand tall with my head held high and say "i have ran the race and it was all well worth it."

Been writing and researching law essays for the past few days. I'm not working as fast as i should but at least i'm working. Better late than never. Things are starting to heat up these few weeks. Exam stress is coming. I'm happy with some of my marks, unhappy with others. But i guess it's normal. Have to focus on what's ahead now. Wake up jincheng! 2 more exams and 11k more words to write.

I went to the beach yesterday. We were in the sea (or surf as australians will call it). I was almost chest deep in the water when ron stepped on my foot. At that time a big wave came and in my struggle to survive, i swung my arm and my watch made a big red mark across his chest.

And i'm gaining weight now. I'm on a high protein, high energy, low carb, low fat diet. It's not a diet diet cos i'm still eating a lot. It's mainly pasta and protein shakes. But ironically i'm sleepy now. But i got to do my work! One and a half months of intense work to go..

I'm starting to miss australia already! And i am missing people.

The trade practices act was amended and enacted only last month and i only found that out now. The amendment was exactly in the section i was researching on. This means a lot of the information is outdated already including the one i got in lecture. Can't they wait till after my assignment then change the law? I had the piece of legislation open in a window on monday and just now i clicked refresh and the legislation just changed to become twice as long. They can't even keep up to date. Just came back from dinner with richard, christina and pita. Haven't seen them for ages. They said i was missing in action lol.. which is quite true. Had korean food and they made me eat cow's tongue. I thought it was just beef until they told me. Then we had icecream cake! Yum.. =)

This is such a busy week. We were working on our report at the lab until 3am yesterday morning and we actually tried to hand it in at the faculty at 3.30am. My longest group meeting ever at 8 hours. My groupmate came earlier and he was there from 2pm to 3.30am. Thank God it's over. And i had an exam two days ago and a presentation this coming monday. It should be fine.

I've lost so much weight in the past one month plus. Around 6-7kg already. Should start exercising routinely again. Ok i'll start today.

And since i haven't blogged for so long i don't really know what else to say so this will do for now.

Suddenly i've been exercising again after a long period of inactivity. Went running two days ago and went gymming yesterday. Today i feel like visiting the gym again. I weighed myself yesterday and i lost 5 kg. Hmm interesting, after all the junk food.

Had my presentation yesterday. Thank God i could answer the question which the tutor fired. I almost couldn't. After that i had my group meeting. And the rest of group agreed already that we're gonna buy industry reports for all the banks to use as information. First time i'm spending so much money for a university assignment.

And amazingly i slept at 8pm last time. It is way too early.
